This is an Auscam Boonie Hat featuring the iconic Disruptive Pattern Camouflage Uniform (DPCU) often nicknamed Auscam, jelly bean camo, or hearts and bunnies. This five-color camouflage pattern has been used by the Australian Defense Force for decades and is known for its distinct look and effective concealment in the field.
The hat includes an adjustable chin strap to keep it secure, along with metal ventilation eyelets on each side to help keep your head cool. Around the crown is a sewn-in band with loops, commonly referred to as the "foliage ring," designed for attaching camouflage material or natural brush.

I love the overall shape and design; the brim is shorter and the material is stiffer so it stays out of your face while still keeping sun off your neck and face. Gets better as time goes by; it gets a little softer and more broken-in with each washing.
